Food Therapy – Whole Food Juicing

Whole food juicing… why? Because it’s cheaper than therapy.

Something about just going through your fridge and blending your favorite fruits and veggie to drink your problems away. I always feel refreshed and vibrant. Also, I hate wasting food. Which leads me to reason number 1 as to why I won’t buy a juicer. If you’ve ever used one, you’ll see how much of the actual fruit ISN’T even used. All that beautiful fiber–discarded. Not cool.

I’m not a whole food juicing guru, and I know there’s a science to it (to those that are die-hard whole food juicers). It’s just more fun the way I do it.

Yep, and it’s also that time of the year when there’s just so much fruit everywhere that the trees can barely stay up.

I highly recommend investing in a Blendtec or Vitamix– it’s a great way to make a quick healthy snack/meal.

Grapefruit that my housemate picked from her friend’s tree. There was so much, the poor tree was starting to tilt.

I like to used coconut water to all my smoothies as a natural sweetener.

Otis loves smoothies. He starts salivating every time he hears the blender. Total Pavlov’s dog.

Love it.
